These are paper garments such as sweaters or trousers which are painted with acrylic, gouache and watercolor. The painting acts as a surrogate body probing its corporeal limits. Exploring the physicality of color and texture, the works’ surface is created through a dance of repetitive marks, suggesting that a body’s labor isn’t separate from the product it generates but is, rather, another version of it.
